Expression of Interest are invited for Recruitment for National Consultant Service to Develop Costal Erosion Hazard and Disaster Vulnerability Map for Sinoe County The objective of this assignment is to undertake a comprehensive Coastal Erosion Hazard and Disaster Vulnerability Mapping for Sinoe County in terms of causes such as human, material, economic or environmental losses that exceed the community's or society's ability to cope using its own resources. Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Consultant will have the following responsibilities: • Identify and develop stakeholders- engagement roadmap • Conduct gender assessment and mapping of the current hazard and vulnerability of Sinoe County • Conduct desk review and analysis of situation in the region to inform best practices • Conduct data analysis of findings and recommend remedial actions, to address the hazard and vulnerability mapping identified in Sinoe County • Conduct focus group discussions in communities more vulnerable based on exposure • Ensure the conduct of an inception and validation meetings • Support all other works leading to the production of the final product Functional Competencies: o Excellent and effective communication (verbal and written) skills, including ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations by clearly formulating positions on issues, articulating options concisely conveying maximum necessary information, making and defending recommendations; ability to convey difficult issues and positions to the public. o Have a considerable knowledge of research and proposal development
